A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for the Isle of Wight, with the worst of the weather expected overnight into Wednesday morning.
IW Met Service is warning that 10-15mm of rainfall is likely in many parts of the Island, with localised amounts up to 20mm.
Islanders can expect to see localised flooding in the usual prone locations plus lots of standing surface water on the Island’s road network
The warning is in force from 02:00 until 08:00 on Wednesday 29th December.
