Isle of Wight-based Stubbings Brothers has achieved a staggering 100% excavator market share in the 0.8 to 8 tonne machine range for the first time in the company’s history.

A family run business established in 1983, Stubbings Brothers has worked alongside Kubota for more than 6 years and is the largest Island-based dealership to specialise in providing an all-round service, from machinery sales through to parts and service support.

The 100% excavator market share landmark was achieved after years of continual growth for Stubbings Bros, with machine reliability and high-level customer service key to the success.

Luke Stubbings has said:

“It wasn’t very long ago that Stubbings had little influence in the construction market. To then work closely with Kubota and go on to achieve 100% excavator market share in the 0.8 to 8 tonne machine range is an achievement we are immensely proud of and it’s great to see the strides our business has made in such a short space of time.

“Key to our success is the sales and aftersales support we provide our customers and to make sure we’re adding value to their operations. The construction industry is buoyant in the Isle of Wight and our customers want a machine that is reliable, won’t let them down and can get the job done. With Kubota, they get exactly that.

“It’s an exciting time for us, with the quality and popularity of Kubota machines and the value we add as a dealer, I’m excited for what Stubbings Brothers can achieve as we move forward.”
