Of the 224, 83 were to report trees and heavy branches which needed to be cleared from the Isle of Wight’s roads.
Weather warnings remain in force today, until early afternoon.
Today (Monday), Watergate Lane remains closed due to a leaning tree.
Closures also remain on Manor Road footpath, Shanklin. Due to the number of mature trees down, this is likely to be until Wednesday.
Egypt Hill in Cowes is also closed, where a construction site has been hit by the high winds.
